This includes an infinity pool overlooking the ocean and one under a retractable glass roof. And in place of one giant pool deck that grounds the ship, the vessel has four smaller pools. This classy watering hole is flanked by tunes from the overhead Steinway and Sons piano and onboard shopping, which includes a Cartier outpost and the first Rolex store at sea. This is significantly less than mega ships like the Icon of the Seas that will sail with thousands of people. So instead of paying the 60 plus dollars that it would cost to get an Uber or a lift, you could take the subway, and the train system, all of which will be super easy to get over there.

MSC Meraviglia offers some of the lowest prices in the industry. There's a Sports Bar in the ship's Sportplex, but I never saw it open, even when the area was crowded. Three bars (Atmosphere Bar North, Atmosphere Bar South and Bamboo Bar) by the main Atmosphere Pool serve up classic umbrella drinks, as well as beer and other libations.

Among the dessert options, the best are the chocolate lava cake, the New York cheesecake and the peanut butter and milk chocolate cookie. We don't spend much time in our room to justify the cost of a balcony, unless we get a great deal on an upgrade bid. I always really appreciate reviews of ships, so I decided to review my sailing on MSC Meraviglia. It was my first time on MSC, having previously cruised NCL many times, Carnival once and Princess three times. While the Marketplace Buffet has an "ethnic" section typically serving Asian and Indian fare, the largest variety and the highest quality come from the specialty restaurants. They include seafood, steak, Mexican, sushi and teppanyaki, and all cost extra.
